HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE?
It depends. Each person’s needs are different. The therapist and client will discuss goals and progress toward meeting those goals on a regular basis, based on the individual’s presenting issues. Some clients need fewer sessions than others, but each will be addressed on an as needed basis.
WILL YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATION?
No. Only medical doctors and psychiatrists are permitted to prescribe medication. The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists at Restorations Counseling Services are not professionally qualified to prescribe medication. If the therapist believes medication would benefit the client, an appropriate referral for medication will be made.
WHAT TYPES OF THERAPY DO YOU OFFER?
Individual, couples, family, and EMDR counseling are available.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT?
Appointments are generally made at the conclusion of the session, to guarantee an appointment in the near future.If circumstances arise for the need to cancel or change an appointment, please contact the therapist at least 24 hours prior to the session.Appointments not kept or cancelled within the 24 hours prior to the session will be considered as a no-show.The first no-show is free of charge.The second and third no-show will be billed at 50% of the regular fee.The fourth no-show will be billed at the full fee.

Sessions on average last 50 minutes in length.

Costs can vary from $60-$150/per session.
